Phase (A)

  • Create a new Gmail account and then go to the gear icon.
  • Click the "See all settings" option at top of the menu and then select the "Forwarding and POP / IMAP" tab.
  • Go to the IMAP row and enable IMAP and press the save button at the bottom.
  • Now open a new tab and search "Less Secure Apps" then click on the first option related to the Google Account and then ON the button.

Phase (B)

  • Run Mozilla Thunderbird and click on Set up New / Another Account.
  • Fill in the Gmail account detail and press the continue button.
  • Once it is configured, create a new folder under the newly created Gmail account setup. After that drag all emails to a new folder.

Phase (C)

  • Run Microsoft Outlook and Go to file >> info >> Add Account
  • Enter Gmail account address and press advanced option
  • Select IMAP and fill server detail:

Incoming port: 993, Server: imap.gmail.com

Outgoing port: 465, Server: smtp.gmail.com

  • Put the password of Gmail and press connect.
  • If all setting are corrected, you will see “Account successfully added”.
  • Now click on done button and enjoy ....!

Second Manual Process

The restriction of this method is that you can't use on latest MS Outlook versions.

  1. Download, install and configure Eudora email client
  2. Move MBOX file to Eudora default location and change the mail format: ASD.mbox == ASD.mbx (mbox and mbx both are similar data structure)
  3. Open Microsoft Outlook application >> Go to file tab.
  4. Choose import export tool >> Select “import internet mail and address” then press Next button.
  5. Select “Eudora (2x, 3x & 4x) pro and light” option then press next button.
  6. Browse the Eudora location to save the mailbox (You can also check “Remove duplicate email”) and click on next button.
  7. Save the destination where you want to add mailbox and press finish button to initiate the synchronization.
